It actually made me cry reading the part about how once babies are washed off and swaddled they aren’t given a fare chance to crawl to mom’s breast to nurse b/c arms are constricted and Mom’s scent is washed off. Luckily I had a pretty middle of the road experence. The hosptial I gave birth in was family friendly (everything was done in my room) and b/c of DH and my demands.
